Please schedule your appointment online using Sponsor Code:  AL58

**All presenting donors will receive a limited-edition Red Cross RuMe® tote while supplies last!**

Your blood will be separated into its components—red blood cells, platelets and plasma—and be sent to area hospitals to help patients with different needs.  Blood is needed for traumas, heart surgeries, joint replacements, organ transplants, premature babies, leukemia, other cancer patients and much more.

17yrs old, weigh at least 110 lbs., and generally be feeling well the day of your donation.  Travel or birth outside the country may prevent you from donating—call (866) 236-3276 or visit the Red Cross website for a list of eligibility topics in alphabetical order.  There is no upper age limit to donating blood and very few medications will defer you.  Cancer survivors may even be eligible to donate!

By following a few recommendations before, during and after your blood donation can help you make your donation experience as safe, successful and pleasant as possible.
